The 146th Engineer Combat Battalion provided instructors at the  New School for Czech civil engineers.

Co. C. 146th Engineer Combat Battalion  4th July Parade 1945 Pilsen. 
The last Big parade of the 146th Engineers, all men in the Battalion who had 85 points or more took part in this Parade for them the war was over and soon to start heading home, those under 85 points would be transferred out of the 146th  into still active units such as the  20th & 1340th Engineer Combat Battalion who were earmarked to move to the Pacific theater  of operations.
